One of the participants in that online discussion posted a photo of a letter that was sent from Macedonia to Greece. It shows that this government-organized ethnic terror is not limited only to cars, but that it also is applied to postal communication.

The letter above has an "additional" message, stamped from the Greek postal officials, which systematically remind everybody that Macedonia is "recognized by Greece as ПГДМ/FYROM".
Now I wonder, what's next for those Nazi decision makers in Athens? Maybe a decree that orders Macedonians to have armbands saying that they are recognized as not worthy to be called by their name?
So, way to go Greece! Show the world how "good neighbor relations" are built. No wonder nobody believes you anymore.

Mr Goodbytes goodmorning
My country Greece donated your country FYROM [or VARDARSKA whatever you like]
Military Helicopters
Armoured Vehicles
Military training for your army
BY this way you defeated the Albanian uprising and saved the integrity of your country.
And what your impostors/liar politicians did?
They sell the free of charge arms to Bulgaria!!!!!!!!
Mr goodbytes its obvious that:
your are a propagandist
your are a fascist/racist VMRO bastard
your are a big liar
your IQ is below zero
Have a nice day, and I repeat relax a little bit because tough days are approaching for your country
Do you know why I am not moderating the comments from people like you? Because they tell more, first hand, about the kind of public opinion that supports the Greek politicians in their lunatic agenda to change the name of their neighbor.
It also confirms my theory that your politicians are using this "issue" only in order to manipulate the mentally retarded masses and get easy votes. :-)
Actually I recognise the right to say that your nation is whatever you want. I will come back to say more. But with these posts do you really believe that you don't show that you are not a Macedonian nationalist? I am Greek. But do you think for Greek ? In our history (the new one) gave the first win over fascism. Even I that I believe in your rights when I see these pictures I think you have a very bad education. I am sorry for you.
karpidis, which pictures are the ones you don't like?
1. The first picture shows the car sticker that your government officials put on Macedonian cars entering your country.
2. The second is the stamp that the mail from Macedonia gets from your country's officials.
If you are talking about some other picture, please tell me which one.
And about my nationalism, it stretches only as far as I want to be recognized by my name and not insulted/humiliated by my neighbors and anyone else (see the comment from Kostas above, it becomes a typical/majority stance of your people). Treat me as equal, as a human, and you will see a big difference. And I have to stress that I don't want to entice radicalism and hate, but dialog and respect instead.
Finally you prove that you are the same with Costas. Costas is a greek nationalist! It is not the majority. But I don't accuse you. You eat media propaganda as kostas does. You are people in the mirror. The photo of Nazi with jews houses of course I didn't like. Tell me your official name by UN. So see if there is any difference in greek authorities between your coming or letters and any other country in the world. It is international law to use a sign of the official name of the name of the country. If comes an Armenian of "self named" Republic of Nagorno Karabakh greek authorities will give them the official sign of Azerbaijan. Until this time your UN name is FYR Macedonia. But please don't judge from minorities about the whole nation. And even Greek that DO NOT want to listen about Macedonia in your name of nation do not believe that you are not humans.
Please wake up. See the other side of the problem.
If you don't want to be a nationalist think about Macedonians that live in Greece. That speak almost the same language with ancient Macedonians. That live in the lands of Ancient Macedonians. As you have the right to say that you are Macedonians also they have. How can choose that we have the right but DON'T think about others rights? The majority of Greek (almost 97%) understood this so asked about an name with regional sign (something like North Macedonia) but your nationalism rejected this name. What do you think, who has right? Greek fought against fasist. Even when "allies" after war supported Greek Fascist to take over the goverment over communists and majority of greek (allies with help of Tito ) many greek died to have democracy and not fascism in Greece. Do not say so easy that greek are Nazi. Think and think and think both sides to see who has the right. As I say I recognise your right to call yourself Macedonian. But give me a solution for Macedonians that live in the place that ancient Macedonians lived.
you consider yourself serious man?....
anyway happy easter from GREECE
observ8, happy Easter to you, I am an agnostic, but Orthodox Christian by tradition. :-)
karpidis, first thank you for trying to run a normal conversation. I will do my best to answer all your questions.
Our "name" in UN is not the name we want, and was negotiated without public approval. For me it is strange and _insulting_. Nevertheless, this post above demonstrates not only the will of the Greek people, but an OFFICIAL, government/legislative backed procedure for MARKING people as something different.
This happens against their will and they find it insulting. Hiding behind something like the UN's _temporary "reference"_ (NOT even a real "name") does not help. It is still insulting and racist towars your neighbors. And that's why the comparison to the Germans marking Jews was made, and it relates to your country's laws and the people who support them (I have repeatedly said that I do not have anything against the Greek people, as long as everyone treats me as equal).
Greece, and Macedonia also, fought against the Nazis in the WWII. I don't like them as much as you don't like them. Jews from both countries were deported and brutally killed in the Nazi camps. Nobody is disputing that, and it has no relation with this modern day phenomena. I am simply trying to open your eyes and see that your country discriminates people based on their ethnic background. The same goes for your minorities (see EFA - Rainbow's site for details), who are still discriminated, despite multiple appeals and court rulings in their favor. This includes both the Macedonians who are Greek citizens and live inside and outside Greece, and are forbidden to enter your country.
And about the people who have an feeling they are ethnic "Macedonians and Greeks", it is their right to call themselves any way they want, and carry that name with dignity, because I am not disputing it. It is your country that disputes the use of the term Macedonia, not the other way around. And because of that, my country suffers REAL problems.
Tell me this: why do the "Greek Macedonians" have the right to call themselves "Macedonians", and why is that forbidden for the "ethnic Macedonians", who are also Greek citizens, but don't feel "Greek by genus"? And what gives the majority the right to impose such discrimination?
Everybody needs to finally recognize the existence of the Macedonian nation (language, culture, tradition, history...) and our strive to live in our independent state. The very efforts to deny our existence is something that needs to stop first, and then we can talk about something more relaxed. In the meantime, everyone should tell what bothers him, and the others can listen if they want.
Actually about Macedonians that live in Greece and they are not Greek I have some suspicion that these do not exist in reality but a american plan to make a problem to Balkans again and make a new war again. The president of Rainbow says that he is Macedonian but his cousin says that is not. I am not sure if he speaks Macedonian-Bulgarian. I would like to have a trip to these places to find the truth by myself. If you are interested it would be great to do it with a Macedonian to see who has right about "minorities" in Greece
