Xinhua: "It is disturbing to hear the Metropolitan's extremist speech, "Macedonia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The statement pointed out that Anthimos is a top religious figure in northern Greece, and that he wielded a big influence on Greek political scene.
The foreign ministry said that it expects the Greek authorities to "immediately and unequivocally condemn such speech, which pose an indirect threat to the territorial integrity of Macedonia."
There have been numerous reactions to this language of hate, but "strangely", none comes from the politicians living in that racist country Down South. To Macedonians, this brings BAD memories of another Nazi high priest, Germanos Karavangelis, who ordered ethnic cleansing, killings and other atrocities over the ethnic Macedonian population in Aegean Macedonia, even including some Macedonian priests, some 100 years ago (needless to say, he is now considered a national hero in FMPG, as you can see from the biased Wikipedia article about him). Maybe this new Devil (he calls for killings, he surely is not an angel) hopes to take his position in their history, who knows... So much for the peace and tolerance coming from the Greek Orthodox Church.Below is the press release from the United Macedonian Diaspora, that condemns the top religious Nazi lunatics which call for war with Macedonia and further heat up the public opinion in FMPG against Macedonians:
The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) condemns the recent statement made by Metropolitan Bishop Anthimos of the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Thessaloniki, as reported by the Associated Press on November 5, 2007, calling for the “return” of portions of geographic Macedonia to Greece: “Macedonia is Greek... and parts of it that are missing should be returned.” Most remarkably and, ironically, the Metropolitan’s statement comes at a time when Greece has been increasing the pitch of its unfounded (and politically motivated) claims of “irredentist propaganda” by Macedonia against Greece arising out of the so-called “name dispute” between the two nations. His statement is stunningly naive and irresponsible.
At a time of potential political upheaval in the Balkans, it is incumbent upon all public and quasi-public officials in the Balkans to maturely address issues in the region, including the Kosovo Question and the “name dispute.” A call for the partition of at least two other Balkan states by a major Greek Orthodox Church leader is simply unacceptable and certainly does not advance the “good and neighborly” relations that Greece claims that it wants with the Republic of Macedonia.
The Metropolitan’s comment are troubling not only to the Republic of Macedonia but, also, to Greece’s fellow EU and NATO member, Bulgaria -- as the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, and Bulgaria each hold only a portion of geographic Macedonia. The Metropolitan’s comment is contrary to the spirit of each of these organizations and to the principles that Greece and Bulgaria each swore to uphold when they joined them.
Finally, it is noteworthy that, unlike the Metropolitan, no religious leader from the Republic of Macedonia’s diverse religious communities (nor any member of the Government for that matter) has ever called for the “return” of those portions of geographic Macedonia that are not held by the Republic of Macedonia and, as one would expect, those religious leaders are more concerned with the spiritual well-being of their adherents than with the “name dispute.” The Metropolitan would be well-served to examine his conscience (particularly as a person of faith) in light of the genocidal acts and policies – including torture and forced assimilation targeted against Macedonians during the last 100 years -- by which Greece solidified its hold on a portion of geographic Macedonia.

Mr Milososki the minister of foreign affairs of FYROM country has got a grant by KOKKALIS Foundation (Kokkalis The president of INTRAKOM and president of Olympiakos Piraues football team) to study at Harvard University.
What are you saying mr Goodbytes now for "Nazi" greeks?
How "nazi" greeks as u say, helped your Minister?
The _country_ is Nazi because top officials endorse and approve Nazi methods, including genocide and ethnic cleansing, or simply denying someone's right of self-determination, or threatening to veto its progress. On the other hand, the _people_ can be this and that. All Greeks are not the same.
1. Some Greeks hold money in their hand, when they are reaching for a neighbor Macedonian.
2. Some have kind words for neighbor Macedonians.
3. Some offend their neighbors calling them Fyromians, Skopyans and anything else that the Macedonians say they aren't.
4. Some call for embargo.
5. Some call for war.
You see, I am trying to make a distinction with whom I am speaking. A racist or Nazi is a racist or Nazi in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, and anywhere in the world, including Macedonia.
We need to get rid of those people among us.
All the above written by you are nonsense (ΠΑΠΑΡΙΕΣ=PAPARIES in greek language - you see I am trying to train you)
We are talking about the KOKKALIS Foundation, not the Kokkalis himself, which is a Greek Institution operated under the Greek Law and in close cooperation with the Greek Ministry of Education.
Furthermore we are not talking about a common citizen of FYROM but for your Minister of Foreign Affairs. Its strange to me that an official executive like Mr Milososki has got money from a Greek Institution to study at Harvard University and at the same time he behaves with such an arrogance againt my country Greece (He permit us to use the word Ancient Macedonia)
I dont think that this is a moral behavior (i suppose you know the meaning of the word)
Have a nice day
By giving the man a grant to study at a reputable university you expected him to what.…?
Moral behavior.??
You attempted to buy his loyalty; and you are talking about moral behavior?
